The idea behind this search is that frequently we search the web not to find web pages about something we know but rather to learn about something we just came across. We need a definition of what it is we typed in, not a heap of pages. SprintersSearch is designed to answer that need.
Whatever it is that you look for SprintersSearch will look up leading encyclopedic data sources and databases on the Internet and then will return two short definitions + two images that will briefly describe the item you were looking for. It is - shortly - the search that informs.
If our definitions are not enough you can follow the links to full articles from the source sites. If you want some other pages - results of a general web search (powered by Yahoo) are displayed below.

We used Yahoo since Google doesn't have a nice open interface we could use. Even with Yahoo some limitations may apply, hidden in legal mumbo-jumbo. Sorry Yahoo, we are not making any money on this. :)
